Rate of Pay: Starting at $23.00/hr
Have you always wanted a fun and rewarding job? Do you have a passion for working with seniors? Look no further as we currently have an opening for a Night Janitor to join our Maintenance/Housekeeping team! Schedule is 2pm-10pm, 10p-6am, and 2pm-10pm/10pm-6am split.
What You'll Do:
- Walk through each building at the start of your scheduled shift looking for any outstanding housekeeping tasks
- Common area janitorial cleaning throughout the community such as vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and taking out the trash
- Special cleaning projects including, but not limited to carpet cleaning, deep cleaning, leaf blowing, pressure washing,
- Ensure sidewalks and roads are salted and cleared during icy or snowy weather
- Respond to the needs of residents, families, visitors, and team members
- 1 year of previous janitorial experience preferred
- Carpet cleaning experience preferred
- Previous experience working in a senior living community or healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to organize and re-prioritize to accommodate fluctuating needs of the residents and community
- Must be ablet to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, guests and other team members
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working with seniors
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and pull frequently during shift
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to local and state regulatory agencies
- Ability to maintain CPR/First Aid credentials
